Our Story

Joenet is the founder and operator. Born and raised in Denver Colorado, growing up in the backs of kitchens with both her stepdads' restaurants- a vintage steakhouse and a greasy spoon breakfast cafe. Formally trained in contemporary and classical pastry techniques in Boulder Colorado at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. She spent years sharpening her skills creating high end desserts and artisan breads in the Denver Four Seasons Pastry Shoppe. Today, Joenet's passion for baking is just a part of the operation that is Colorado Cookieland. A high end, artisan micro bakery that offers delicious culinary experiences to bring all of life's special moments to a higher degree. She treats every event as an opportunity to create lasting memories through detail, design, and enthusiasm for you!
